Welcome to Ximena Escobar! Her book, The Secret Beautiful, releases in 2024.
Ximena Escobar has always held a deep-rooted affection for the art of writing. From letters to essays and lyrical compositions, she has explored a diverse range of genres. An adept player of Exquisite Corpse with her dearest friend, her creative wanderings led to several screenwriting projects. Though those didn’t work out, she did have the opportunity to translate a musical in 2009.
A literary group on social media caught Ximena’s attention in 2017, encouraging her to not only write more, but to begin submitting her short stories, poems, and micro-fiction. Her work has been published in over 50 anthologies by various indie publishers in Australia, America, and the UK. The Secret beautiful is her debut solo title.
Ximena’s life is full of love and adventure. She has three children, a lovable dog, and she feels at home in three different countries. Born and raised in Chile, she now lives happily in Sydney with her family.
